December 2, 2019 Message from Medjugorje

Dear children, as I am looking at you who love my Son, my heart is being filled with tenderness. I am blessing you with a motherly blessing. With a motherly blessing, I am also blessing your shepherds – you who speak the words of my Son, who bless with His hands and who love Him so much that you are ready to make every sacrifice for Him with joy. You are following Him, who was the first shepherd, the first missionary.

My children, apostles of my love, to live and work for others, for all those whom you love through my Son, is the joy and comfort of earthly life. If through prayer, love and sacrifice the Kingdom of God is in your hearts, then your life is joyful and bright. Among those who love my Son and who love each other through Him, words are not necessary. A gaze is sufficient for the unspoken words and unexpressed feelings to be heard. There where love reigns, time no longer counts. We are with you.

My Son knows you and loves you. Love is that which brings you to me and through that love I will come to you and speak to you of the works of salvation. I desire for all of my children to have faith and to feel my motherly love which leads them to Jesus. Therefore, you, my children, wherever you go, illuminate with love and faith as apostles of love. Thank you.

– Dec. 2nd Message from Our Lady of Medjugorje

Among those who love my Son and who love each other through Him, words are not necessary. A gaze is sufficient for the unspoken words and unexpressed feelings to be heard.

💛❤️💙 “A gaze is sufficient…” Once more Our Lady seems to emphasize the power of the eyes, as she did in her November 25th Message. It reminded me of Mother Teresa of Calcutta who, although she worked among the poorest of the poor and the slums of the earth with much adversity and hardship, always exuded such joy. The countenance of a Saint says it all.

Do your eyes tell a story of love and joy?

In Numbers 6:24, Moses blesses the children of Israel with the countenance of God that their children might be made known by it to the rest of the world.

The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

And in Genesis 32, after Jacob wrestles with the angel, he names the place Peniel, “because I have seen God face to face.” (Gen 32:30). Peniel literally means “the face of God” in Hebrew.

Why does he say that he has seen God face to face? He has only seen an angel, which, although divine and sent by God, isn’t God.

Anytime we encounter a Holy person (or angel) we are encountering the blessing of Moses, we are encountering the countenance of God, we are seeing God face to face in the eyes of a Saint!

Our Lady’s message reminds us, today in our lifetime, we are still encountering God in the gaze of those who love Him (even though we may have to wrestle to receive the blessing of it) and through His shepherds “who speak the words of my Son, who bless with His hands and who love Him so much that you are ready to make every sacrifice for Him with joy.”

It would seem the message of the hour is that the world needs to see the true countenance of God reflected in His Saints. That means you and I, as true lovers of God, are called to exude His Joy not just in our deeds or in our hearts but in our eyes, in the illumination of our face. When we gaze upon our family and friends we ought to be giving them the piercing love of Jesus.

Sacred Heart of Jesus

My son knows you and loves you.

Our Lady continues to show us that Love is the way.

🙏🏼 Let us continue then to “illuminate with love as apostles of love” and to love our shepherds as our Divine Shepherd has loved us. To Love is the ultimate sacrifice, let us make it with joy.

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. – John 13:35
