“Come up, Come up, Come up higher, I say. When you are in the trenches it is impossible to see above the blades of grass, but if you will come up and perch yourself on High with Me, I will show you where your prey lie and wait for you and you will snatch them up before they see you coming and you will devour all your enemies.”
Understanding of the times and seasons is nothing new to the Tribes of Israel, indeed, it’s even understood within Nature itself. Even before the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the sons and daughters of the Tribe of Issachar were known to have a deep understanding of the times, and they knew by faith what it was that would need to happen next in order for the Jewish people to align themselves with God’s plans. “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do” (I Chronicles 12:32).
Today’s times are no different. Especially thanks to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, those who have understanding of the Spirit of God have access to the Throne Room of God and are, likewise, able to see and hear what is on Heaven’s Agenda for the coming times. Holy Spirit filled believers are invited to join the children of Issachar to have understanding of the times and to know what it is the new Israel ought to do.
The Hebrew language, likewise, is more than mere markings but a richly intricate system of symbols and hidden mysteries. Jews have long believed the Hebrew language to be the hidden language of Heaven. Unlike the Phoenician alphabets we know today, Hebrew symbols contain within them pictures that symbolize the movements of the heavens and earth below and help to give clues to the divine workings of creation. In their book, A Time to Advance: Understanding the Significance of the Hebrew Tribes and Months, Chuck Pierce and Robert & Linda Heidler outline the scriptural basis for why Christians today ought to consider such mysteries of faith and participate with their Jewish Master, Jesus, in the blessings and traditions of the Hebrew revelations on the times and seasons.
For example, this last decade from 2010 to 2019 has been all about “seeing” what God is saying about you, about your life, about the plans he has for you and for the world around us. It is not so coincidentally conjoined with the Hebrew Letter “Ayin” a picture symbol of an eye and characterized modernly in the number 70. Every year in the Ayin Decade coincides with another letter in the Hebrew Alphabet which was revealed in the early Jewish Talmud as having Heavenly significance, just as the instituted feasts (Rosh Chodesh, Yom Kippur, Passover, the Feast of Weeks. etc.) and appointed times of the Old Testament.
This coming year, 2019 in the Greco-Roman calendar, coincides with the Hebrew year 5779, 70 being again part of the “Ayin” decade but also 9 being a “Talet” or picture symbol of the snake. Thus, we can expect 2019/5779 to be a continuation of the last ten years, in which God has been inviting us to “see” what He is saying. September 2018 to August 2019 will be no different, except that this 5779 year will be the culmination of everything God’s been preparing you for in order to step into the next season – “Pey” the decade of the mouth, speaking and declaring the Kingdom into Earth.
How you have spent these last few years will indicate to you how prepared you are for what God wants to do next. This last year of the Ayin decade is a year of reckoning. As in the days of Jesus, the Holy Spirit will come down to take an account of those who are producing fruit and those who are not. Your willingness to see beyond your present circumstances this last decade and position yourself to receive the goodness God has planned for you will greatly impact the verdict of the Spirit over your life.
There are nine fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22,23): love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. This will be a year to look and see how genuinely you have produced them.
There are nine gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8-10): wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment, tongues, interpretation of tongues. Have you been able to see which of these gifts the Spirit has called you to manifest in your life as a believer. There may be more than one or in some cases all. How faithful have you been to study and demonstrate them. This will be a year to look and see how much you believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. A heart that speaks from unbelief cannot declare thy Kingdom come. Let the mantra of this year be, “Lord, I believe! Help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24).
There are nine Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-11): Blessed are the poor in spirit (1), for theirs in the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn (2), for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the gentle (3), for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (4), for they shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful (5), for they shall receive mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart (6), for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers (7), for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who have been persecuted (8), for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you (9) when men cast insults at you, and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, on account of Me. This will be a year to look and see how well you have allowed the Spirit of God to transform you into the image of His son.
Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised (Genesis 17:24). Nine is the number of total agreement. The reason Abraham had to wait until he was 99 years old was because 99 indicates agreement with God. The numeric value of the Hebrew word amen is precisely 99. Men say “amen” to indicate agreement with what has been said or done. This is your year to say “Amen” to the plans God has for you.
He has shown you the way to beyond and in the decade ahead (2020-2029), because you have allowed Him to purify your heart, He will put His words in your mouth to decree and declare boldly the will of Heaven. You will literally begin to speak your Destiny into existence. This is your year to align yourself with what God is saying over you and see what He has planned for your future. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
As in the days of Jesus, many will rejoice at the good news of all the Lord has done to prepare this way for you. Many will recognize the season of preparation they have been in and will welcome the fine tuning of the Spirit in these days to help them go beyond, as Jesus did with his disciples in the days before the great outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. But there will also be many like the Pharisees and Sadducees of Jesus’ time who have ignored the time of preparation and will find themselves unable to receive this time of visitation. For them, the world will look as though it is in a great tumult. They will manifest the fruit of their heart and because it has not been purified it will be full of deceit. “For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.” (Mark 7:21-23)
They will follow in the way of sensuality and in their greed they will exploit others (2 Peter 2:2,3).
There will be a greater chasm between believers and unbelievers. As Jesus told his disciples then, “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household.” (Matthew 10:34-36). The same will be again now. Be prepared to see a great divide become more visible within families, communities and nations. This will be a pivotal year for some relationships to solidify in unity with the Holy Spirit or to dissolve and break apart. The Holy Spirit is at work uniting His people. You cannot move forward into your present if you are stilled aligned with your past. This is a year to let go of past regrets, past hurts, past unforgiveness, past dreams, past opportunities and move into the plans God has prepared for you – new hopes, new joys, new alignments, new dreams, new opportunities. You will see somethings which have been always before you as completely new and different, as though you were seeing them now for the first time, though they have been in front of you this whole time.
Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind.” (John 9:39)
Those who know the power of the Holy Spirit will see by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Church is very much alive and she will prevail over the kingdoms of darkness. Be careful not to be swept away in the sight of those who “see but never perceive.” They are as the fig tree that bears no fruit.
You shall indeed hear but never understand, and you shall indeed see but never perceive. For this people’s heart has grown dull, and their ears are heavy of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should perceive with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn for me to heal them. (Isaiah 6:9-10)
This will be a time to see the movement of your enemy at work against you to deceive and frustrate Heaven’s plans. You will not only discern the voice of God over you in greater definition but you will begin to discern the movement of the enemy against you and topple its plans before they arise!
As Jesus said, “turning to the disciples he said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see what you see!” (Luke 10:23).
How you see things will determine how you move forward.
Faith will be demonstrated in greater measure. As was seen in the days of Jesus, it was faith that brought healing. Mark 5:34, “He said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.'” Luke 17:19, “Then he said to him, ‘Rise and go; your faith has made you well.'” It takes Faith to see the unseen. It takes faith to believe what is hidden in darkness can be overcome by the light. 5779 is the year Faith will square off with Deceit and Unbelief. Many believers will see the snake in the grass and confront it with Great Faith, while those who are lacking in faith will see the snake steal their inheritance from them as the serpent stole from Adam and Eve that day in the Garden. This will be a year to guard your heart against loss. The devil deceives us by appealing to the unsanctified imaginations of our heart, when we hold onto them and refuse to let them go we are in rebellion against the sanctified imaginations God has planned for us (Ephesians 3:20). Just as a seed must die in order to produce new life, some things in your life will need to pass away in order for the sanctified version to spring forth, likewise, some places that were dead to you will suddenly be revived as the enemy is commanded to return to you everything he has stolen.
There will be war. God used war to purify the Israelites in the desert and even earlier, in Genesis 14, we see how war helped to purify the way for a man of Abraham’s faith to Arise. We have been told by the Scriptures and the prophets that war will continue until the last day in order that the righteous may be found worthy of the Lord. God desires our attentions be on Him and Him alone. Time and time again, wars have shown which side the people of God have chosen. King Saul gave himself over to false idols in the days of his war and David had to battle through his own share of wars in order to prove himself a man after God’s heart. War is a great purifier separating men and women of valor from those of ill will. Jesus’ words in Matthew 10:36-42 are a key to how this year will go for many:
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
Do not fear the Snakes. Even the Lord used snakes to purify the Israelites. “Then the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people, so that many people of Israel died. And the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD and against you. Pray to the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people” (Numbers 21:6,7). When Moses led the people out of Egypt, he challenged Pharaoh with Aaron’s staff that turned into a snake and ate the snakes of Pharoah’s sorcerers (Exodus 7:12). In Acts 28, we see the Apostle Paul even gets bitten by a snake but does not die. Jesus himself tells us in Mark 16 that those who believe in him “will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” As believers filled with belief, we can expect to overcome the snakes of our enemy. We have this assurance that whatever foe we face, we can be “wise as serpents and gentle as doves” and still overcome our enemy. Just as Moses raises up the serpent staff in the desert to heal the afflicted Israelites, we have the assurance that Jesus raised up on the cross has healed all our afflictions. We are more than conquerors, we have been raised up with Jesus and given power over the enemy!
The battlefield is on the home front. The war will wage in the heart. Love your neighbor and pray for your enemy. Stand strong against the temptations of the devil and you will find yourself being strengthened by the Lord. Take courage like Joshua and have faith the Lord is with you. War is inevitable but defeat does not have to be. When God is for you, nothing can stand against you. You will need to arm yourself with His Word. Make time to hear His strategies over the relationships in your life and plans for your future. Be constantly in prayer and keep vigilant against the snares of the enemy to entice you, distract you, and manipulate you into a trap. Remember, the Lord is near to those who love Him and all you need to do if you find yourself surrounded and overwhelmed is to cry out to Him and He will rescue you!
Let this year be a year of deepening everything the Lord has begun in you. Do not be afraid of the Lord’s accounting but ask the Holy Spirit to re-calibrate you to the plans of Heaven. Remember all the sinners Jesus saved because of his visitation. By His Presence, Zacchaeus came out of the tree. It is not too late to turn over a new leaf. The Lord can accelerate you just as he did Peter and Matthew, Mary Magdalene and the Samaritan Woman. Pray that you are able to see the snake in the grass unlike the rich man who was unable to see the greater One sitting before him. And, unlike Judas, who having dined at our Lord’s table in great intimacy and fellowship still could not let pride die in his heart. Ask for greater Faith. Ask for Boldness of Faith that your Yes be “Yes!” and all your Amens “Amen!” This is the year to come into total agreement with God. Let there be no doubt He is a Good Father and has only good plans for you.
Let this be the year all doubt and unbelief dies in you, so that you may step forward into your future, fully reborn, a new man/woman, ready to speak boldly the words of Christ and do what he is saying. Let this be the year you exclaim, “Lord, now I see!”
Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; and their sight was restored” (Matthew 9:29,30).
Declare: Lord, I see! Lord, I see what you are saying and I believe in all you are and all you can do in my life. Lord, I believe, help my unbelief! Let it all be done according to your word. I am ready to Go Beyond my wildest dreams with You! I’m ready for Thy Kingdom Come Thy Will Be Done!

Regarding your comment: “The numeric value of the Hebrew word amen is precisely 99.”
Amen is an acronym for אל (’El) מלך (melek) נאמן (ne’eman), meaning “God, King [who is] Trustworthy.”
The “numeric value of the word AMeN is precisely “91”. Aleph – 1 , Mem – 40, Nun – 50 = 91
Blessings, Rabbi Caleb PhD.
this is on point !!!!
