ROAR AT THE MOON (a prophetic word)

As I was looking up at the brightness of the moon casting it’s light over the shadow places, I heard the Lord say, “Roar at the Moon.”

Thinking on it, I wondered if I’d heard him correctly. Wasn’t that for the wolves?

“No. My lions did it first.”

It was then I could hear the sound of the Lion Of Judah standing in all his fullness on the ledge over looking the lands, and in the gleam of the brightest moon, his roar thundered across the plains and mountains and filled the atmosphere.

“Remind my people, the night season is not for howling, it’s for roaring.”

And I remembered the watchman on the wall, and the night in the Garden of Gethsemane, and the woman who came knocking at midnight. What the enemy has meant to terrorize the hearts of men by making them to fear the night is now no more. The Lord is taking back the night!

He is reminding his people to keep vigilant and use their God-given abilities to see the movements of the enemy in the dark places, just as the lion senses the movement of its prey through heightened night vision. Its ability to remain under stealth is what favors the lion at night, allowing it to get closer to its prey at night than during the day.

In these night seasons, the Lord is allowing us to get closer to our enemy than during any other part of the day, so that we can listen in on their plans to wreak havoc in our lives and over our loved ones and over our nation, SO THAT WE CAN OVERTHROW IT! What the enemy has meant for evil, the Lord is allowing his lions to see in advance and overturn it before it can even happen! By the roar in our mouth we are able to scatter and destroy the plans of the enemy in these night seasons.

Some will encounter them in dreams and night visions and others will be awoken at midnight for prayer and an intense burden to pray for a specific person or cause. We should not despise these night watches. The Lord is causing His lions to stir and roar loudly against the darkness. The Lord is silencing the howl of the enemy with the sound of mighty roaring lions willing to conquer in the night. The call of the night is Isaiah 58:9-10:

Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer;
you shall cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’
If you take away the yoke from your midst,
the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
if you pour yourself out for the hungry
and satisfy the desire of the afflicted,
Then your light will shine in the darkness.
You will be like the bright sunshine at noon.

Be ready to Roar with Him in the night! This is the season to shine. SHINE BRIGHT.
