Easter is a celebration of inheritance and anyone who tells you otherwise is just mistaken.
Following the wake is the reading of bequeathing. Today, you inherit the cosmos and all creation. Everything that is the Son’s becomes yours. Because of what He did, you possess all He has.
Today, is about Blessing.
Today, we feast.
Today, we celebrate the creation of the cosmos “the Cosmic Egg” as St. Hildegard calls it because today, it is His gift to you and ALL who believe.
Today, we rejoice.
Today, we celebrate not just fertility but abundance.
Fertility, because life in Christ is fruitful and blessed is the fruit of the womb.
Abundance, because sons of God are without lack, having every blessing under heaven now at their asking because of what Christ has won.
We hunt not as slaves wandering aimlessly in the dark, but for treasure hidden by a Father who delights for his sons and daughters to find His gifts in the light. He is easy on those who seek Him and their baskets are overflowing.
This Easter, today and every day to come, we delight in the proclamation of His Will, Christ is Alive! And with Him we are risen also. Though we might not have it yet fully in our possession, our inheritance is proclaimed and assured. We proclaim again the words of our baptism, renouncing satan and all his lies, thus confirming once more that we are children of God. We are the rightful heirs to this abundance Christ has died to give us.
Today, “We are an Easter people, and Hallelujah is our song!”
Let no one steal, rob, or destroy what Christ has died to claim and Christ has risen to give you. Today, the Promise is fulfilled. The Truth is yours for keeping. Guard it well.
Today, the Lord, God, Master of the Universe passed judgement not just over the gods of Egypt but over the Lord of the World. The blood of the lamb has spoken. He established His Son on His throne forever.
Today, all Creation was set free.
Today, was not the end but the beginning. “All creation waits” to see what the sons of God will do with what was bequeathed them.
Blessed are those invited to the Feast of the Lamb.
Happy Pesach. A Joyful Easter. Christus surréxit!

I thought you did a great job here. The wording is excellent and the illustration is tasteful, but there’s a feeling that you might be giving more, which would probably happen again if you go on this walk.
