Imagine for a moment what it would be like for a woman of Mary’s purity to invite you into her heart, only to expect that same depths of purity from you in return.
Joseph would’ve needed heroic courage to stay committed to virtue to love Mary on her terms.
Imagine for a moment what it would be like to protect Jesus as a child.
Imagine for a moment what it would be like to kneel at the bedside of a six-year old Jesus, knowing God chose you to teach Jesus how to pray.
“Joseph, son of DAVID, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife.” Matthew 1:20-21
💛❤️💙 Saint Joseph was a man of great loyalty to God. A very Holy man. A devout Orthodox Jewish man. He came from a small town and kept a humble heart.
