So many do not realize that love must come from Love for it to be effective. It cannot come from hate. It cannot come from prejudice. It cannot come from pride. Love cannot come from any other motive of ourselves but Love itself if it is to transform and save a life.
What is this kind of Love? It is first pure. Which is why our Lady rightly points us to turn and look at who is calling us to return to Love. Who among humans can claim such purity but the Mother of Our Lord. We can take confidence in her instructions which will lead us on the path to fullest conversion because she is just as the Apostle Paul tells Timothy such instruction in love should be:
“The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.” 1 Timothy 1:5
Our Lady’s charge is the same, she issues forth our Lord’s instructions with a pure heart, a good conscience and sincere faith. She can be trusted to carry out His plans.
And what are her instructions?
“Leave sin and evil, decide for holiness and joy will begin to reign”
Where have we heard these words, they are surely nothing new. Yes, indeed they are Truth!
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. - Romans 14:17
So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. - 2 Timothy 2:22
“you will be my extended hands in this lost world. I desire that you be prayer and hope to those who have not come to know the God of love.”
The purest of hearts, Our Lady Queen of Peace, desires that we not only be the hands of Jesus but that we be her extended hands in Jesus! Truly this is sincere instruction. It is not the harsh hands of a fisherman she calls us to imitate in Peter, nor the scholar hands of Paul who writes with such eloquence and fire but rather the gentle hands of a Mother. A Mother whose arms are open wide to her children whom follow in the blood of Jesus, having imitated him in his life, passion, and ministry are proving themselves to be truly in Him, with Him, through Him. It is to these little ones she is calling to be her extended hands to the world. Hands of prayer. Hands of Hope. Nothing more. Nothing less. Hands of a Mother’s Love that invites little ones to Come and See the real Love of God being gifted to them, right now, even in the midst of confusion, especially in the midst of confusion! There is no place safer in times of chaos than a child in their Mother’s arms.
This is what our Lord has been instructing us to do for many years now. For nearly 40 years from Medjugorje, he has extended his Mother’s arms to us in prayer and in hope, calling us to listen to her pure heart and sincere instructions to keep us safe from the wolves that prowl about in this world.
What’s remarkable is that her messages are not just extended to us from Medjugorje but from all around the world and her instructions are always consistent. Repent, turn away from sin; turn to God and choose a life of holiness; remain in Him through the sacramental grace of Holy Communion and Reconciliation; and pray and read the Scriptures. In short, grow in grace and trust her instructions to keep you from deception.
Dear children, I am your Mother and I love you. Be obedient to my call and testify everywhere that you belong to my Son Jesus. Open your hearts to the action of the Holy Spirit and you will be rich in faith. You are living in a time of pain and the moment has come for your return. Do not live in sin. God is making haste. Do not leave what you need to do until tomorrow. My Jesus awaits you with open arms. Courage. When everything seems lost, great joy will arise for you. Remain by my side and I will take you on a safe path. You are living in a time worse than the time of the Flood. Men have defied the Creator and are walking like the blind leading the blind. Do not allow the flame of faith to be extinguished within you. A great darkness is approaching and many of the consecrated will fall. I suffer because of what comes to you. Be attentive. This is the message that I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed Me to gather you here once again. And like a true Mother, she instructs us to pray for all her children, especially for priests, who are in a unique way pressed against temptation and in danger of falling away and leading others astray.
Beloved children, thank you for being here in prayer and for having listened to my call in your hearts. My children, how I suffer on seeing my favored sons [priests] accepting the laws of Satan. Sometimes even believers have allowed themselves to become involved in this fight against God, but do you think you know more than God? Do you think you can receive all graces just because of having prayed distractedly without opening your hearts? Beloved children, in the apparitions I have been preparing you for this moment, but I have not been listened to, rather mocked and accused of overshadowing my Son Jesus; but while He was on the cross, did Jesus not say that I would be your Mother?[1]Why do you deny everything that has happened? What has happened to you, my children, my little ones? Nonetheless, God is stronger than Satan, but you prefer to live in the world without making any sacrifice. Children, pray for the Church and for priests, because they will have to face evil. Tomorrow, during Mass, if you have an open heart, the Holy Spirit will descend on you. Pray for Venezuela. In these times, Jesus’ parting instructions are all the more dire:
“Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.”
Matthew 10:17
Brothers and Sisters, pray that you would be bold enough to tread on serpents like Our Lady and pure enough to “Take head that no one leads you astray.” Matthew 24:4.
