Every child thinks they can fly. Oh the wonder and joy to jump into the sky! To soar through the clouds. No restraints or weight.
As reason, and gravity, sets in flying becomes less of a reality and is left to fade into a dream.
What if I told you it was time to WAKE UP?! That you were made to fly…made to soar?!
We were not made to live by the restraints of this world! Gravity is a choice! Flying is real!
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23
We were created to live by the Spirit! And when we do there are no laws to hold us back or hold us down!!
When I look at the life Jesus lived, I am filled with joy. He was a LAW BREAKER! Love was His main goal, even if rules needed to be broken to achieve it.
And Jesus, answering, spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” But they kept silent. And He took him and healed him, and let him go. Then He answered them, saying, “Which of you, having a donkey or an ox that has fallen into a pit, will not immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?” And they could not answer Him regarding these things.
Luke 14:3-6
Living by the Spirit is flying!! No rules but the rules of love. The Spirit takes you to those in need. Those who are hurting. Those who are lost. And as they watch you soar, they too begin to realize there is more. They begin to awaken to love, freedom, hope, and life!
It’s time to walk off that cliff you are standing on. Quit settling for the things that are seen but press on for those that are unseen. You were created for so much MORE!
You were made to FLY!!!!
