PROPHETIC WORD: Bridges and Chasms – No More Delay

I believe there are many paths to awakening but only one way home.

A word from the Lord,

The soul that has become a bridge is my own. It belongs to me.

Souls which ultimately do not know me are not bridges but a chasm, which leads others to death.

Careful, Dear Ones, not to be blinded and deceived, believing you have become a bridge home, when in Truth, you’ve become a mirage in the desert, leading souls to the Pit.

You will know them by their fruit.
The fruit of their heart, not just their deeds.

Become a bridge in this life;
We’ll all get home together.

In my morning #coffeewithJesus, I found myself reading Ezekiel chapters 9-14 from the Stone Edition Tanach in the Hebrew translation and this prophetic word you just read was called to my memory. Often the Lord will give me a prophetic word to write down in my journal that I do not feel led to share until the scriptural proof is revealed. This was just that.

What popped out at me from the initial word was the frightening realization that a soul could be totally unaware they are a chasm and not a bridge for the Kingdom. How subtle is the deception of the adversary that a soul might believe it is doing good when in fact it is inflicting harm. And finally, the Lord’s gift of wisdom to look for the fruit of the heart not just the fruit of their deeds or actions, I had not heard it said that way in scriptures but knew it must be there.

In his book, A Time to Advance, Chuck Pierce writes about Spiritual pride being the worst demon you can encounter. “You have to discern when you are being deceived. Only pride can hold you in deception. Spiritual pride is the worst demon because you think you know everything. Your spiritual pride will lead you into a new zeal and passion. However, in actuality, you are being led backwards into apathy, because you’ve become deceived into believing you are keener than everyone else around you.”

The fruit of a deceived heart manifests as a spirit of apathy. When we become over-zealous for the Lord and doing His work that we forget to seek Him first and ask if it is in-line with His Holy will, we are in danger of Spiritual Pride. The result of this will be discouragement, disappointment and fatigue. We will see our hope deferred, a fruit of the heart.

Just as Jezebel ruled alongside King Ahab, that idolatrous spirit of Jezebel can manifest in us, especially believers, when we place our will before God’s Divine will. The ruling spirit which joins us in our idolatry is like the spirit of Ahab who was apathetic toward life and his kingdom, which the Lord had given to him to rule over as a son of Israel, allowing instead to let that prideful spirit of idolatry called “Jezebel” take over and wreak havoc over our promised land.

This is why the Lord references that woman Jezebel in the book of Revelations above all other spirits of pride. She embodies the spirit of spiritual pride that will destroy one-third of all believers in the last days. Her idolatrous trappings are the same as that spirit of lies from the Garden: she seeks to destroy God’s sons and daughters through Lust of the Flesh, Lust of the Eyes, and the Pride of Life.

This spirit of pride is not to be taken lightly, she almost took out Elijah! (See 1 Kings chapter 19)

There is only one way to combat such a prideful spirit. And, it’s to move in the completely opposite spirit: humility.

And, we must keep hope. Humility is a fruit of our deeds but hope is a fruit of our heart. When hope is deferred the heart is sick. But when hope is present the heart is alive and well!

Let all those who are true prophets of God lead the way in hope and humility. You will know them by their fruit!

Each of us has been marked by these spirits. Learning your marking is the key to your destiny. Are you a bridge or a chasm?

In Ezekiel 9, the prophet witnesses our Lord Hashem/Elohim calling for the marking of the righteous. He sends out the scribe angel Gabriel to mark their foreheads with fire.

“And Hashem said to him, ‘Pass through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and mark a sign on the foreheads of the men who sigh and moan for all the abominations that are done within it.”

When the prophet realizes God intends to smite those without the mark, he fears that the entire remnant of Israel and Judah will be wiped out. He has witnessed how few righteous are left and he pleads with Hashem to be merciful. The Lord responds, “I have placed their way upon their head.”

Dear brothers and sisters, we cannot neglect the way that has been placed upon our heads.

The horn of the righteous, as it was said was placed upon Moses transfiguring his face after descending Mt. Sinai, is a light that points us home. As the Holy Spirit again descended upon the disciples in the upper room, those tongues of fire are as a horn of righteousness, which without its illumination, we are destined to wander in the desert.

There is a true way.

The Mashiach, Christ, alone is the Way.

It is the Lord Hashem who sends forth true prophecy upon our heads. And why prophecy? Because in knowing what is to come before it happens, we are drawn ever nearer to God (see John 13:19 and John 16:13-16). Prophecy apart from drawing closer to God is not not true prophecy. This is why the prophet Ezekiel is told to discredit the false prophets in chapters 13 and 14, whose soothing lies were preventing repentance.

“And if a [false] prophet is enticed and makes a declaration, I, Hashem have enticed that prophet, and I will stretch out My hand against him and destroy him from amid My people.” – Ezekiel 14:9

Many of the false prophets posed as God-fearing people, while secretly living immorally and sinfully. In order to expose them, God will entice them to prophecy, so that their wickedness will become apparent when their predictions are shown to be false and their way of false living is exposed.

“By ensnaring people with your magical rites, predicting life for those who follow you and death to those who oppose you, you cause their souls to lose their rightful reward in the World to Come.” (Rashi Commentary on Ezekiel 13:17-23)

Those who prophesy lies are allowed to do so by Hashem’s power because His people love to listen to lies. But God is not a father of lies, the devil is (John 8:44), so how can this be?

“Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” -2 Peter 1:20-21

And, so, even the liar prophesies by the Spirit of God.

And his abominations are allowed to continue, for a time, so that those who are called and are chosen by God might return to God and draw nearer to Him. Still not convinced? Read 1 King’s 22:22 and 2 Chronicles 18:21.

An encounter with the false prophets, the sorcerers, the soothsayers, the occult, the falseness of life, ought to make us long for the authentic. Who would sincerely want to go their entire life being lied to?

When you are finally fed up with all the lies, you will turn and cry out for the Truth. This is the point where the Lord Hashem will meet you face to face. This is the moment you will know the mark upon your own head. You will either profess the truth or cry out to be lied to forever. How many believers are actually confessing, “Lie to me well, so long as I don’t know what’s happening it’s all good” or perhaps we profess in our hearts “I know all I need to know!” Dear One, you are being deceived by that prideful spirit.

And, this, is why the true followers of Christ must learn to embrace their calling to disciple the nations. The church is called to fill the void the world and all its lies create in the hearts of those who are seeking Truth and to awaken those whom have been anointed and marked to profess it! We must not let that woman have her way among us. We must cast the prideful spirit out and along with her that spirit of apathy. We must become a bridge and not a chasm.

For the righteous are not marked by the father of lies but by the Spirit of Truth.

The righteous must keep humble and prophecy in Truth.

“Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and things they have not seen (Ezekiel 13:3).”

And yet, we are all called to prophesy, the liars and the Truthsayers alike. For every man is a mouth piece of the Living True God.

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Even on my servants [those I have yet to call friends], both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.” – Joel 2:28-29

The Scriptures are clear that even non-believers can prophesy and move in the power of the Holy Spirit.

But if you desire to speak Truth, then you must guard your heart and learn to discern what the Spirit is saying.

Careful, Dear Ones, not to be blinded and deceived, believing you have become a bridge home, when in Truth, you’ve become a mirage in the desert, leading souls to the Pit.

As believers, we must be on guard against the spirit of pride and especially that demon of Spiritual pride. To be a mouthpiece of the Spirit of Truth, one must be clothed in humility and filled with the Spirit of Christ – he who humbled himself even unto death on a cross. The only weapon against pride is complete humility. Then, you shall be a prophet of God. For this is the Spirit of true prophecy: the testimony of Jesus (Revelations 9:10). The testimony of Jesus is  the Way of Humility.

Guard your hearts and your mouths, Dear Ones.

For there shall be many false prophets arising in the last days, not to torment you or to cause you to live in fear of your salvation (for true prophets of God know only peace) but to cause unrest upon the souls of those who have yet to know their markings. For they are still prone to love lies, about their identity and their inheritance, and have yet to turn and seek My Truth. They do not yet know how incredible they are!

If you’re reading this right now thinking there’s no way this could be me, then it most absolutely is you! You are marked for righteousness, Dear One. Repent in humility and seek the Lord’s face. He will guide you into all Truth.

You get to choose, become a Bridge and not a chasm.

No More Delay

“The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance.” – 2 Peter 3:9

For a Day comes when all the righteous souls shall know they are marked by the blood of My Lamb who has saved them, and the corpses of the liars who bear the mark of the beast shall be slain outside my Sanctuary. ‘And their way is marked upon their heads.’

You will know them by their fruit.
The fruit of their heart, not just their deeds.

Ezekiel 12:21-28:

The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, what is this proverb you have in the land of Israel: ‘The days go by and every vision comes to nothing’? Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to put an end to this proverb, and they will no longer quote it in Israel.’ Say to them, ‘The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled. For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinations among the people of Israel. But I the Lord will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay. For in your days, you rebellious people, I will fulfill whatever I say, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, the Israelites are saying, ‘The vision he sees is for many years from now, and he prophesies about the distant future.

“Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

Both are beautifully appealing but only one is the Way. Choose wisely this day… Be a bridge. Walk over the bridge. Do not delay.
